Since opening the clinic in 2006, Marilyn has helped thousands of clients feel more confident in their skin. Every treatment begins with a personal consultation, because no two faces — and no two skins — are the same. Does laser hair removal or treatment hurt?

Most clients find treatments very comfortable — laser is usually described as a warm, light snapping sensation. The equipment is designed to be gentle, and Marilyn checks in with you throughout. Any warmth or redness settles quickly.

How many sessions will I need, and how far apart?

It depends on your skin, the area and your goals, but most treatments need around 6 to 12 sessions, spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, for the best and longest-lasting results. Marilyn gives you a clear, personalised plan at your consultation.

Is there any downtime?

Our treatments are non-invasive, so most people carry on with their day straight away. You may notice mild redness or warmth in the treated area for a short while, which settles quickly. Marilyn explains exactly what to expect for your specific treatment.

Is it safe for my skin type and tone?

Marilyn has over 20 years' experience working with a wide range of skins. Suitability depends on your skin type, tone and history — which is exactly what your consultation is for. She'll confirm the safest, most effective approach for you.

How should I prepare, and what's the aftercare?

Before treatment, avoid sun exposure and self-tan, and for laser, avoid waxing or plucking the area (shaving is fine). Afterwards, keep the area clean, wear SPF, and avoid direct sun and heat for a few days. Marilyn gives you full, tailored before- and after-care advice.

Do I need a consultation first, and is it free?

Yes — every treatment begins with a complimentary, one-on-one consultation. It lets Marilyn understand your goals, assess your skin, and recommend only what will genuinely help, with no obligation.

How do I book, and what if I need to reschedule?
